Introducing the brand
Jumbo is one of the leading and fastest growing supermarkets in the Netherlands. At the time we ran our first campaign they had a little bit over 500 stores. By now (beginning of 2020) it’s over 700. Jumbo tries to be distinctive by being a premium as well as affordable supermarket.

What’s the challenge?
Jumbo has a local strategy, focussing on the individual stores, a lot being franchise. Their media agency therefore had the challenge to run custom local campaigns for all different stores. This meant a lot of manual work, customizing all the campaigns, i.e. monitoring, optimising, reporting, etc.
The Adcombi solution
Our Multi Advertising tooling offered Universal Media the opportunity to automise the campaign management of over 300 participating stores, in several campaigns. Creatives, runtime, strategy, every campaign aspect was customized, even budgets were allocated to specific regions.

Success story
This way we handed Jumbo a solution to run affordable custom campaigns for all their stores. Centralized and eventually even decentralized. In continuation of our campaigns we connected our tooling to Jumbo’s Local Marketing Tool, upon which their franchisees are able to manage their own local programmatic campaigns.
